Before You Book
Do I need to be a member to attend?
No, but being a members gives you priority access to our events, and discounts!
Do I really have to come alone?
Yes! We don’t call it Strangers in the City without good reason. In order to create an environment that fosters an equal opportunity for connection, everyone has to be in the space without pre-existing friendships to lean on.
Is there an age limit?
Nope! Unless a specific event states otherwise, our experiences are open to all adults.
What’s included in the ticket price?
Each event is different. Your ticket usually covers the experience itself, activities/icebreakers, goodies and sometimes food and drink (check event details for specifics).
What is your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. If you can’t make it, you can pass your ticket onto a friend – please let us know if this is the case.

What should I expect at the event?
Some events are intimate experiences with around 20 people, and others are large gatherings with up to 100. Expect icebreakers, interactive activities and ample opportunities to speak with other people. We sometimes have freebies from our brand partners for you to take home too!

Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself! We will send you a reminder before the event with key information that you will need to know e.g. for some of our fitness-related events, there may be guidance on specific clothing to wear.

Can I attend more than one event?
Absolutely! Many of our strangers come back regularly.
Do you host events outside London?
Not yet. At the moment we are London-based, but we’re working on expanding into new cities.
How can I keep in touch with the people I met?
We encourage you to exchange details with fellow attendees on the day. We also have a WhatsApp community for our strangers to stay connected and discover more events.
